John Todd, Jr.

John “Popper” Todd Jr., 63, passed away unexpectedly December 26^th, 2023 at his home in Sandwich, IL.

John was born on September 22, 1960 in Sandwich, IL to John Todd Sr. and Ruth Harper.

He went to school, and graduated at Leland High School, where he was raised.

He married Kathy Gray on May 19^th, 1990 and was married for 30 years. They eventually had 3 kids, Jason Todd, Krystal Todd and Kaitlin Todd.

John has worked various warehouse jobs throughout the years, and retired from Target Distribution Center in July 18^th, 2019.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Todd; Daughter, Krystal Todd; Father, John Todd, Sr.; Mother, Ruth Harper; As well as brothers, Donald Todd, Jack Todd, Kenneth Todd, James Todd and Rodney Todd.

John is survived by his son, Jason Todd; Daughter, Kaitlin Todd; Grandson, Kailyer Nash; 2 granddaughters, Sienna Nagy and Rhaelynn Morris; Sister, Annetta (Gayton) Richey; 3 brothers, Richard Todd, Dennis Todd and Gregory (Donna) Todd; As well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on January 20, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Sannauk Forest Preserve in Sandwich, IL.

Jason and Kaitlin would like to give a special thanks to all the friends and family that have given unconditional love and support during such an unexpected loss of a great Father, Papa, Husband, Brother, and Uncle and lastly friend to many, many people. They would like to extend to everyone that John has touched over the years, to come celebrate his life.
