Joseph E. Jung

Joseph E. Jung, 69, of Sandwich, IL passed away on April 21, 2022. Joseph was born on July 15, 1952 in Evanston, Illinois to Joseph and Mary (McGinn) Jung. Joseph owned the Color Inn paint store in Lombard, IL for 24 years. He was also a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. He was a fan of and enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He also enjoyed vacationing in Florida, he was a wannabe beach bum. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Debra; 2 children, Jennifer (Jason) Themanson of Mahomet, IL and Jodi (Anthony) Romano of Sandwich, IL; 6 grandchildren, Alyssa, Jake, Ella, Lexi, Jaxson and Nicolette; As well as 2 brothers, John (Evelyn) Jung of Phoenix, AZ and James (Chryssa) Jung of Gig Harbor, WA.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 340 West Arnold Street Sandwich, IL 60548. A memorial mass will be held immediately after at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home.
