Julia Ann Berg

Julia Ann Berg (Gunderson) passed away peacefully December 20, 2024 at the age of 85 in Geneva, IL. Born in Joliet, IL on April 17, 1939 to Arthur and Gloria Gunderson (Price). 

She was married to Allen L. Berg Sr. for 58 years before his passing. During their marriage, they lived in: Joliet, IL; Lockport, IL; New Smyrna Beach, FL; Deltona, FL; and Sandwich, IL. While living in Florida, she owned a porcelain doll making business. Julia was very active in her church and loved many crafts. 

Julia is survived by her children, Christine (Michael) Ulanowski, Elaine (William) Ruzon, Julia E. (Corey) Villanova, Allen L. Berg Jr. (Janice deceased), and David (Allison) Berg. Also her brother Arthur (Kay) Gunderson and her brother-in-law Fred (Margaret) Berg. Julia will be greatly missed by her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Julia is preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen L. Berg, Sr, (2015), her parents Arthur Severn and Gloria Evelyn Gunderson (nee Price), her daughter, Charlotte, and her sister Arlene Hays (Gunderson).

Inspired by her grandmother, Dr. Anna Sabina Hussey Gunderson, Julia decided to donate her body to medical research. Therefore, no services are planned at this time.
