Karen L. Wickens

Karen L. Wickens, 82, of Sheridan, IL passed away on June 16, 2023. Karen was born on December 3, 1940 in Rockford, IL to Francis Miller and Twila (Kruger).

Karen was a member of the Sheridan Methodist Church. She had been a Registered Nurse since 1961 and worked in Sandwich, IL from 1973 to 2005. Karen married William (Bill) Wickens on February 2, 1963 in Sandwich, IL. She enjoyed working, being at home and caring for Bill, as well as going out west to see Tom and visit.

Karen is survived by her son, Brian Wickens, of Sheridan, IL and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis Miller and Twila Borneman; Her husband, Bill (2008); 1 son, Thomas Scott Wickens (2014); As well as 1 brother, Joel Miller.
