Kay Shehorn

Kay Shehorn passed away on April 16, 2021 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion. Kay was born on April 7th, 1941 in Salem, IL to Frank and Maude (Hickman) Fitzgerald. She met the love of her life, Donn Bedford, in 1999. They lived in Sheridan, IL until her death. They enjoyed going on scenic drives together and taking care of their garden and doing yard work. Kay collected angels and Texaco memorabilia. She LOVED her diet coke and also liked coloring in the adult coloring books. She was employed at Hillside Healthcare in Yorkville, IL for over 30 years where she retired from.

Kay is survived by the love of her life, Donn Bedford; Four children, Ken Shehorn, Rita Shehorn, Nina Shehorn and Neta Shehorn; Four step-children, Jeremy (Taira) Bedford, Jamie (Marissa) Bedford, Michelle (Joe) Bedford and Amanda Bedford; As well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
