Keely Sue Simmons

Keely Sue Simmons, 63, of Ashton, IL passed away at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL on June 21, 2022. She was born June 2 1959, in Dixon, IL to Wilbern and Nell (Lukancic) Milligan.

Keely & Bobby have been married for 35 years. She was a lifelong resident of Ashton. Keely's last job was at Panduit where she worked for 20 years. Prior to that she worked at Avery for 20 years. She was an avid reader and liked to cook and try new recipes. She was a dog lover, especially Chihuahuas. She leaves behind her beloved Chihuahua, Mia and German Sheppard, Missy. She also enjoyed Harley rides with her husband Bobby.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby; Her son, Joshua Pena of Jonesboro, AR; Her “loved like a son”  son, Desmond Milligan of Lindenwood; Two stepchildren, Jason Batt and Nicole Simmons; 3 sisters, Tracy Brooks of Sycamore, Vicki Milligan of Des Moines, IA and Kathy Daugherty of Mt. Morris; As well as 2 brothers, Brett (Tammy) Milligan of Rochelle and Bartt Milligan of Rochelle.

Service for Keely will be held Monday,  June 27th, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Home, 601 Richardson Ave. Ashton, IL with Rev.  Farrel Stauffer officiating, Interment to follow at Ashton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. till the time of service.
