Linda L. Mabry

Linda Lee Mabry, 84, of Plano, IL passed away on October 30, 2024. Linda was born on November 7, 1939 in Mt. Carmel, IL to Thomas and Elizabeth (Rigg) Alexander. She was united in marriage on January 31, 1959 to Charles Richard Mabry and they spent over 50 years together before his passing in 2012. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Plano, IL where she was involved and loved her church family. She also enjoyed vacationing and traveling, some of her favorites being Branson, MO and Tennessee. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her many family and friends.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Ann Killey of Plano, IL, Christine Jay Mabry of Plano, IL and Karla Lynn (Chad) Dierdorff of Somonauk, IL; Grandchildren, Joshua (Lindsay) Harvey, Tiffany Andrews, Rebecca (Alex) Pickett, Ryan (Krista) Killey, Kelly Desponett, Samantha and Sidney Dierdorff; 13 great-grandchildren; A nephew, Tommy; And a cousin, Nancy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Charles Mabry; 1 son, Kelly Mabry; 1 son-in-law, Scott Killey; As well as 2 brothers, Roy Mac Alexander and Tommy Alexander.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A funeral service will be held immediately after at 12:00 P.M. with a graveside service to follow out to Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL.
