Lowell Eugene Whitmer

Lowell Eugene Whitmer, 88 of Plano, IL passed away at his home  with his family at his side on September 12, 2018. He was born on January 7, 1930 in Aurora, IL to Dennis and Frances Whitmer.

He was a contractor doing home improvements, there wasn’t a thing he couldn’t do or build. He was a “Jack of all trades.” He loved traveling in their motor home and camping at his favorite spot in Florida. He had a love for cars, but what he loved most was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children; Dean (Mary) Whitmer of Plano, IL. and Gary (Dolores) Whitmer of Huron SD. His three grandchildren Michael, Tony and Robyn, 1 great grandchild Hannah and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the love of his life Barbara (Stammet) Whitmer, and  brothers DeWitt and Howard.

According to his wishes there will be no services.
