Marcia H. Marrs

Marcia H. Marrs, 84, of Sandwich, IL passed away on February 24, 2025. Marcia was born on November 13, 1940 to Hans and Marjorie (Erickson) Johnson.

Marcia married Howard Marrs on October 12, 1968 in Lisbon, IL, where they spent many years together until his passing in 2014.

Marcia was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a lifelong Cubs and Bulls fan. She loved her family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with them any chance she got.

Marcia is survived by her son, Michael (Robin) Marrs Sr. of Sandwich, IL; 5 grandchildren, Patrick (Genna) Caruso, Lindsey (Neville) Page, Errick Caruso, Alexandria (Aaron McVein) Caruso and Michael Marrs Jr.; 5 great grandchildren, Aurora, Finn, Orion, Ares and Archie; As well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Howard; A son, Scott Howard Marrs, who passed in infancy; As well as brothers, Eugene Johnson and Howard Johnson, who passed at a young age.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 2465 W. Sandwich Rd. Sandwich, IL 60548. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 P.M. with graveside services to follow out to Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home.
