Marian Lucille Mattson

Marian Lucille Mattson, 94, of Shabbona, IL passed away on September 9, 2020 at Prairie Crossing Living & Rehab Shabbona, IL.  She was born on May 19, 1926 in Aurora, IL to Roscoe & Clara (Eissler) Mitcheltree.  She was married to Robert Mattson on December 31, 1946 in Aurora IL.  She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sandwich, IL. She enjoyed reading and crocheting.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Susan) Mattson of McKinney, TX and Scott Mattson of Tulsa, OK; 9 grandchildren: Patrick (Elizabeth) Jarchow, Stephanie (Mark) Gianetto, Timothy (Rita) Jarchow, Janelle (Christopher Altis) Mattson, Kenneth Mattson, Robert Mattson, Kevin (Sarah) Mattson, Kelly (Graham) Case and Sarah Mattson; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mattson; her brothers, Albert Mitcheltree, Lloyd Mitcheltree and Roy Mitcheltree; her sister, Carol Czmowski; her daughter, Linda Jarchow; And her son Donald Mattson.

Funeral services for Marian will be held Monday, September 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia. Rev. David Kaul will be the officiant. No visitation will be held. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. www.beveragefamilyfh.com
