Marian Ruth Stoudt 96 formerly of Sandwich and Shabbona passed away February 21, 2018 at DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Home in DeKalb. She was on January 19, 1922 to Irene Alvin and Elvina (Hengesbach) Johnson. Marian married Harry W. (Harry) Stoudt on June 26, 1953. Upon “Reds” passing she married Wallace Horton June 2000. Marian was an avid reader, loved being with family and friends, being in the kitchen baking cookies, fixing meals, also having time to have a game of cards. She was “Reds” book keeper for their business “Stoudt Woodworking” in Sandwich for many years. She is survived by her 2 granddaughters Xan Renee Cook and Machelle (Eddie) Porto. 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 sister Delores Shrader and Betty Hartman, 1 sister in law Anna Johnson and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son Allen, 5 brothers, Harold (Lois), Vernon (Dorothy),Orville (Helen), Warren (Anna) and Roger, 2 sisters Verda (Amos) Oftedal and Carol (Marvin) Miller and several nieces and nephews. Private Funeral services will be held at the Beverage Family Funeral Home, Sandwich, IL. With interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery Sandwich.
