Marilyn Jean Patterson

July 2, 1938 — December 4, 2021

Marilyn Jean Patterson. Born July 2, 1938. Passed December 4, 2021

Marilyn lived a full and happy life. She was always upbeat, positive, and when asked how she was feeling, her answer was always “super good,” even when she wasn’t doing so well. She touched many lives and always elicited smiles and laughter. She kept busy raising a family, traveling as a military wife stateside and abroad, traveling cross-country with Ronnie, and most recently — volunteering at the Fox Valley Older Adult Center, where she greeted everyone with a warm smile and helped out with many projects. The Center was her “Happy Place” and gave her a purpose and much pleasure.

She is survived by her children, Monica Hogan, Charles Tauberman, Donna McKeown, Marie Lilly, Carl (Donna) Tauberman, Christopher (Tina) Patterson and  Kelly (Dawn) Patterson; Grandchildren Angela, Brad, Michael, Jessica, Jennifer, Phillip, Michelle, Chassy, Gretchen, CJ, Dakota, Don, Conner, and Cody; Great grandchildren Silas, Ariana, Emmett, Mea, Roman, Alder, Eloise and Elliot, Dylan; Niece Tammy Ruppenthal and her daughters Janelle and Susan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ann Anderson, her brothers Don and Gene, her son John Keller, and her beloved husband Ronald “Ronnie” Patterson.

She will always be loved, remembered, and missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life and luncheon will be held in January.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fox Valley Older Adult Services in Sandwich, IL.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
