Michael Lee Breunig M.D.

Michael L. Breunig M.D. 70, of Sandwich passed away February 2, 2020 at Advocate Christ hospital Oaklawn, IL. He was born on December 17, 1949 in Sandwich IL to the late Gerald and Mary ( Scott ) Breunig.

He was a 1968 high School graduate of Sandwich Comm. High School, Graduated from NIU Dekalb in 1972 and Medical School at U of I Chicago in 1976.

He was a Physician of Family medicine and taught at Rockford School of Medicine.

He is survived by his brother and sister in law Scott and Karen Breunig of Newark, he leaves behind 1 Nephew Dan ( Jennifer ) Breunig of Newark, 2 great grandnephews Von and Jon, and several cousins.

Graveside service for the family will be held  at Oak Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
