Naomi Lewallen

Naomi Lewallen, 92, of Ashton, IL passed away on August 08, 2018 at home. She was born February 06, 1926 in Harned, Kentucky to Murrell and Katherine (Tucker) Butler. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved gardening, coloring, playing card games and traveling. She was a walking GPS for how well she was with directions.

Naomi is survived by 5 children, Glenda (Allan) Lackland of Franklin Grove, IL, Glen Lewallen of Brantwood, WI, Gay (Greg Sr.) Smith of Shreveport, LA, Gary (Barb) Lewallen of Schaumburg, IL and Ginger Trejo of Conroe, TX; 2 sisters, Mary Thursby of St. John, IN and Edith Carpenter of Valparaiso, IN; 1 brother, Zelba Butler of Phoenix, AZ; as well as 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Jesse Lee Lewallen; 1 brother, J.C. Butler; 1 sister, Tish Nelson; and 1 grandchild, Jeremy Lewallen.

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 12, 2018 from 4-7 P.M. at Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Home, 601 Richardson Ave, Ashton, IL 61006. Funeral Services to be held the next day, August 13, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Dixon, IL.
