Norman Potter, 80, of Sheridan.
Norman Seymour Potter died on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at his home.
Norm was born on June 13, 1938 in Sandwich, Illinois to Ruth (Jones) and John Potter.
Norm married Doris Forbes . The couple had two children Richard and Rita (Terra Stetz) Potter.
He graduated from Sandwich High School in 1956. He was owner of Potter Trucking and was honored in recent years for being in the trucking industry for over 50 years. He was a member of the American Truck Historical Society. He was Northville Township road commissioner for several years. And owned and operated Deer Creek Camp Grounds Sheridan, IL.
He is survived by his children Richard and Rita, former wife Doris, brothers James (Kathy) and Eugene (Mary Ellen) Potter, both of rural Sheridan, special friend Clare Beverage and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Joan Bryant.
Visitation will take place Thursday November 1st 2018 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral
