Phyllis Kyle Hoesli, 79, passed away from Alzheimer’s disease on February 16, 2024.
She was born June 18, 1944 in Fordsville, KY to the late William and Aloha (Averett) Kyle and was the oldest of 9 nine children. Phyllis was devoted to her faith and loved her children and grandchildren. Over the years she enjoyed crafts, getting together with family during the holidays, and staying in touch with high school classmates. Alzheimer's took a lot of things from her, but it did not take her quirky sense of humor. She could always make a joke of something. She will be remembered by many for her sensitivity and kindness.
She is survived by her children, Quinn (Janelle Dyer) Hoesli of Lafayette, IN; Todd Hoesli of Murfreesboro, TN; Diana (Rod) Adkins of Fort Wayne, IN; Michelle (Tony) Garibay of Channahon, IL; Shane (Shannon) Hoesli of Murfreesboro, TN; 8 grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathan, and Will Adkins; Jaxon and Jadyn Garibay; and Stone, Max, and Owen Hoesli; 3 great-grandchildren, Kai, Aylee, and Harper Adkins, 6 sisters, Faye Earhart, Catherine Graham, Carolyn Kyle, Deborah Brenner, Jane Light, and Kim Ropp; and many nieces and nephews..
Phyllis was preceded in death by her two brothers Wallace and Charles Kyle.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for June 22, 2024 in Battle Ground, IN. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
