Robert Alan Provancal

Robert (Corky) Alan Provancal, 65, passed peacefully at his home in Sandwich, IL on November 29, 2020. Robert was born on January 25, 1955, in Evergreen Park to Robert J. Provancal and Marlene (Miller) Provancal. He grew up in Lockport, IL. In life, Robert enjoyed traveling to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Welsh) Provancal, his three daughters: Holly York, Aimee Jo (Bob) Kennedy, and Jordan (Jason) Provancal, two step-daughters: Jessica (Cameron) Gutirrez, Kathryn (Jamie) Fahrner, grandchildren: Tess Oglesby, Seth York, Hannah York, Chase Pulver, Harlee Davis, Courtney Davis, Atom Askew, Aiden Fahrner, Mason Fahrner, and Olivia Fahrner, his dad, Robert J. Provancal, his siblings: Debbie (Barry Dean) Hwang, Patrice (David) Sorg, John Provancal, James (Barbara) Provancal and Michelle (Michael)Tuxbury and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marlene (Miller) Provancal, sister, Vicky Cozart, and brother, Francis (Buster) Provancal.

The family, at Robert’s request, will not be having a visitation or memorial service. It is our hope that when large groups are safe again, we will have a celebration of life gathering. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Hospital in Robert’s memory.
