Sue Ellen Stebritz

Sue Ellen Stebritz, 71, of Loves Park, IL was born in Rockford, IL.  She was the daughter of Bill and Ethel (Kasper) Johnson.  Sue graduated from Rockford East in 1970 where she participated in numerous clubs and activities.  She was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.  While enlisted she met and married Ken Stebritz.  Sue loved her time in the Navy and the various places she traveled and lived.  After her service, she proudly graduated from the University of Illinois.  She worked as comptroller in the field of manufacturing prior to retiring. 

Sue Ellen is loved and missed by her children, Joe Stebritz, Elizabeth (Adam) Hade, and Andrew (Jessica) Stebritz; 7 grandchildren; siblings Bruce (Michele) Johnson, Cathy (Tony) Pfaff, and Edie (Al) Nyen; nieces,nephews, and their children – all of whom she loved very much. 

A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials to the Rockford Rescue Mission or The Pregnancy Care Center of Rockford.
