Thelma (Joy) Joyce Yelton

Thelma Joyce “Joy” Yelton, 82, formerly from Morton, IL sadly left us on November 23, 2022.

Joy was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Joy leaves behind one brother, Dale Tiller of Pekin, IL, along with many nieces and nephews and cousins. Joy also leaves behind three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was a wonderful mother who cared deeply about her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joy was passionate about her work as a social worker for many years. She loved gardening, her flower beds and years of humanitarian work.

She had many friends and was well loved in her community and her church of many years.

We will greatly miss her very much.
