Theresa Renee Bagg

Theresa Renee Bagg, 60, of Sandwich, IL passed away August 18, 2020 at home. She was born on October 10, 1959 to Forest and Ruby (Evans) Johnson in Sandwich, Illinois. She was married to Allen Bagg on August 29, 1987 in Plano, Illinois. She worked as the Record’s Supervisor for the Plano Police Department for over 30 years.

Theresa took great pride in the way that she connected with the many citizens and law enforcement professionals that she came into contact with throughout her years with the Plano Police Department. Theresa gave many hours to the DARE program, Illinois Special Olympics, Plano Rockin’ Christmas, and was an original member of the Plano chapter of Character Counts. Theresa also took pride in serving as an associate member of the Kendall County Association of Chiefs of Police. Theresa was also an active member in her congregations at Plano First Lutheran and Harvest Chapel with volunteering and Bible study classes.

She is survived by her two children; Evan Bagg and Briante Nyang of Des Moines, Iowa, one son-in-law; Akim Nyang, one brother; Zane Johnson of Minnesota; three sisters; Sara Kling, Cozette Jones, and Gretchen Haff of Plano, Illinois, one brother-in-law Ken (Rhonda) Bagg of Illinois and sister-in-law Diane (Jerry) LaBolle of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Ruby Johnson, and husband Allen Dean Bagg.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry Street Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral services will be held next day, August 25, 2020 privately for family and close friends. Pastor Derek Johnsen will be officiating. Interment to follow out to Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. www.beveragefamilyfh.com
