Timothy Ray Hinrichs

ASHTON -   Tim Hinrichs, 57, passed away October 31, 2017, at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon, Illinois, surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born in Dixon Illinois, December 5th 1959 to Ray and Sophie Hinrichs of Ashton.  Tim was preceded in death by his Father (10/5/84) and his Mother (4/17/2006) and his brother Fred (10/13/76). Tim lived most of his life with his mother and father, then with his sister Judy until recently he went to live at Pine Acres Dixon and then Amboy Terrace - Kreider Services.   His health started declining rapidly in June 2017 so he was moved to the Franklin Grove Living  Rehab and then October 26th after his last hospital stay at KSB was moved to Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon. Tim was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Ashton.  Tim loved his Cubs  and Bears, he even enjoyed watching golf and tennis on TV. Tim will be fondly remembered with his smile and his gentle soul.  Many will remember the joy and love that Tim brought to whoever he came into contact with. Tim is survived by his sister Judy (Don) Ross of Ashton, niece Lisa (David) O’Connor of Franklin Grove, nephew Brandon Ross - children Jadyn, Caydence, Cohen and Kinnley. He is also survived by his Brother David Hinrichs (friend Ginger Tarrasch) Springfield, Missouri, niece Nicole (Doug) Pascoe - children Griffin and Gavin.  niece Kim (Tim) Moore children Addison and Preston.  He is also survived by his sister Kathy Walter Springfield Missouri - niece Nichole, nephew Christopher - child Lilly. Also survived by his nephew Shannon (Sarah) Hinrichs, Rockford Illinois - children Hunter, Hannah, Halley and Hazel. Memorials to honor Tim’s life may be given to Serenity Hospice & Home - 1658 South IL Rt 2 Oregon IL 61061,   St John’s Lutheran Church of Ashton PO box 225 Ashton IL 61006,          Kreider Services 500 Anchor Rd, Dixon IL 61021,   Ashton Fire Department PO box 485 Ashton IL 61006. Visitation will be Saturday November 4th from 9 until time of Funeral at 10:30 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church 803 Paddock Ave Ashton with Pastor Christine Stienstra officiating.  Burial will be conducted at the Ashton Cemetery. A Luncheon will be served at the Church following the services.
