Tina Anderson

The physical world lost an amazing, wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and the spiritual world gained a beautiful soul. 

Tina Mary Dazzo Anderson, 52, of Sandwich, IL formally of Joliet, IL, went to live with our Lord and Savior, on September 26th, 2024 in Dekalb, IL. She was surrounded by her immediate family and had been visited by family and close friends. 

Tina was born at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL to Alan and Glenda Dazzo on February 18, 1972. She went to school at Wheaton North High School in Wheaton, IL. 

She married Eric Anderson on November 14, 1998 in West Chicago, IL at The Courtyard Banquet Hall. Eric and Tina met doing what she loved most, dancing the night away at JukeBox Saturday Night. 

She graduated from Cosmetology School and was a beautiful artist on people and on paper. She worked as a hair stylist at Bellissima and then for herself for many years. The Andersons loved to travel as a family, watching their children’s sporting events and enjoying family time together. Tina had a love for animals and had always had many pets in her life, most recently Shayna, Shylee and Stewie. 

Tina was a truly colorful, fun and loving individual. She loved to fix things, craft, dance, exercise and to make people smile. Her smile was so infectious and the joy she brought when she was in the room was truly remarkable. 

Tina is preceded in death by her father Alan Dazzo and is survived by her spouse Eric Anderson, her children Tylor and Alana Anderson, her siblings Georgette (John) Lorentsen, Lori (Chris) Ruhl, Brian Dazzo, her mother Glenda Dazzo and an amazing group of friends and caregivers. 

The family of Tina wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Erica Ray. Erica is a true gift sent from God and was a primary caregiver for Tina, a friend and great support for the Anderson family. 

The celebration of life will be on October 19th, 2024 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm at Pinz in Yorkville, IL. This celebration will honor Tina with one of her most favorite things, dancing to live music.
