Wanda L Staton

Wanda L. Staton, 90, of Sheridan, IL passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at LaSalle County Nursing Home peacefully with family by her side. She was born on August 1, 1929 in Olmstead, Illinois to William and Barbara (Eastwood) Harris. She married Thomas R. Staton on January 7, 1950. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2017.

Wanda is survived by 2 sons, Les (Linda) Staton of Sheridan, IL and Steve (Martha) Staton of Cave-in-Rock, Illinois; grandchildren, Thomas (Shannon) Staton of Serena, IL, Eric (Roberta) Staton of LaSalle, IL, Britney Jaeggi of Ottawa, IL, Danielle Staton of Oglesby, IL, Dawn (Luke) Woodin of Norway, IL and Patrick Staton of Wisconsin; as well as 11 great grandchildren, Kendall, Malachi, Taylor, Hunter, Brooklynn, Gryphon, Irish, Jameson, Marli, Reice and Audreeauna.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son Phillip, her parents and 2 sisters, Alice Burns and Betty Johnson and 2 granddaughter Tammy and Lorraine

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:30 A.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry Street, Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Graveside to follow at Elerding Cemetery in Sheridan, IL.
